Back from Bulgaria New Year

What can I say about Borovets? Well a beautiful mountain unfortunately due to lack of the white stuff not much open but what we did ski was good. Also the locals are very friendly and welcoming. Food and beer quite cheap although a bit inflated in the resort due to all the visitors. Lots of really nice people in the hotel and in the pubs. Helped a lad of about 12 off of the black run as the signs were'nt great and he'd gone the wrong way.

Xmas in the hotel was a bit disappointing as the meal was the same as every other day with a roast turkey to one side and the entertainment was a bit strange local dance troop but no explanation as to what they were doing.
